st. valentines day is a good reason to pause and remember how lucky i am to have my boys - lucky to love and be loved.  even though we both work today, we will take time this weekend to sit by the frozen lake with our pup.  we will sip coffee and watch the silly geese; listen to their goofy squawks and watch my pup exuberantly run and skid like a cartoon.  one of my favorite things.
